National Geographic Traveler Magazine

Wanna hear something amazing? I sold some photos to National Geographic Traveler Magazine. They are doing a story on La Braderie, the monster fleas in Lille in this months issue, and these were the picks:

Remember that trip?

The Braderie is today, making these pictures exactly one year old. A pretty nice way to celebrate an anniversary, wouldn't you say? Excuse me while I pinch myself.

Hugs for everybody!

  13. Also I need chairs, should I go to Lille (1 hour train trip from Paris...)

  14. Thank you, thank you, I am quite overwhelmed :-)

On the chairs: as my road trip ended in Paris, I noticed some of the same sellers were on the Vanves flea market (the morning shift), so the Parisians don't have to go that far. The Braderie is only once a year, but I am told there are some great flea markets in Belgium weekly. Ah, the travel itch, I feel it again.

  15. I was thinking going to Brussels very soon... Only 2 hour train ride from Paris I think ;-) But chairs on a train.... I'd rather go to the flea market.
