How it works

This is apparently how it works: if I don’t have the camera, I don’t take the pictures. And, if I don’t have the pictures, I can’t find the words. Since my camera died, and left me with the replacement, I have gone from taking a 100+ pictures a day, to less than ten. It is not so much a writer's block, as a photographer’s one. No one is more surprised by this than me. Or frustrated. Insert curse word. Hell, insert two.

  3. Hi Sandra,
the camera is soooo important to me. I can feel your pain. What kind of camera were you owning? and what kind of camera would you like now ideally? I'm just curious, as a camera lover. And I'm lucky that mine is(are) so good and works(work) well.
    big hugs.

    1. Oh, yes as it turns out the camera is everything. My old one had become an extension of me, somehow. They don't make it anymore, so I have to buy one used. It is a Canon Powershot G12, with a great macro and the flipscreen, that I love so much.

For me it is a priority that I can carry it around at all times, and I often ride with it in the right hand, on my bike. No time for unpacking and no space for extra lenses and what not. The powershot family is perfect, even with the stupid flaws that have killed off two editions already. Love is love, flaws and all haha.

Big hugs back at you. <3

    2. Sandra, I use so many cameras including plastic analog, flaws are great. The ones i'm currently using are really heavy though. Good luck Sandra.
